Studio Space

Untitled Art Society aims to support local artists by assisting with the means of artistic production through the provision of studio space. This space, available to local artists, is more stable and affordable than what individual artists may be able to rent on their own. Untitled studio members pay rent based on the square footage of their studio space. Spaces are private and secure.Artists interested in studio space should forward the following info and they will be put on a waiting list. Studios are assigned on a first come, first served basis as they become available.

Darkroom Facilities

Untitled Art Society operates a two-person, black & white darkroom to the general community for art production starting October 1, 2009. The darkroom will be available on a drop-in basis on Thursdays and Fridays, from 12:30 to 3:30 to both members and non-members. No security deposit is required, and the cost is $30.00 per day. Monthly rental options are available to UAS members (new members always welcome, of course!)

Darkroom Amenities*:

• 2 Omega Pro Lab 4 x 5 black and white enlargers
• Lenses for film formats from 35mm to 4x5 inches
• One 21x26x12 inch stainless steel rinse sink
• One approximately 6x2 foot 6 inch x 7 inch deep fibreglass developing sink
• Communal trays, tongs and developing tanks as well as a table top paper cutter
• Advance on-line booking system
• Individual chemistry and paper storage
*Please note: chemistry and paper are not provided.
Daily Rentals
• Available Thursdays and Fridays 12:30 -3:30 pm, to members and non-members
• No security deposit required.
• Cost $30 * day
